Etching Evening Course
Wednesday evenings from 21 Jan | 6-9pm
Taking place over a series of 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings, this course provides the perfect itnroduction to etching, exploring innovative techniques that encourage spontaneous and diverse methods of mark-making.
Work directly onto metal plates, developing images through various hand applied techniques. Using new safer acid resists makes etching a much healthier process, using neither dangerous acids nor solvents.

Robert Powell
Robert Powell is an Edinburgh-based visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice focuses on printmaking, but extends to sculpture, video, and text. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and longstanding studio member of Edinburgh Printmakers, Robert Powell has exhibited widely at home as well as throughout Europe, North America and Asia.
